Extremely greatful for today!
We have just wrapped up our second successful year of the CARE workshop!

This program, originally conceived as an evaluation tool for our surgical residents as they reach their milestones as surgeons, has truly transformed. While it still serves as a valuable form of evaluation for our residents – who are always at the forefront running the seminars and workshops and have been key to its current success – it has evolved into something greater. We're also happy to share that the workshop now comes with CPD units, adding significant professional value for all participants.

This year, our general surgery residents did an outstanding job, training 23 community health workers (doctors,nurses and midwives). These individuals are vital partners in our mission to improve health in the community.

Thus, two objectives of this initiative have been successfully achieved:

✅️Enhancing community health
✅️Fostering the growth of our future surgeons through valuable, accredited training.
