Juan B. Dosado Memorial District Hospital Welcomes the VAWC Monitoring Team 💙

Last Tuesday, we had the privilege of welcoming the Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC) Monitoring Team to our hospital. This visit was a meaningful opportunity to strengthen our commitment to upholding the rights, safety, and dignity of women and children in our care.

The team conducted a thorough review of our current programs, protocols, and facilities related to VAWC cases. They provided valuable feedback on how we can further improve our reporting systems, response mechanisms, and patient support services to ensure that victims of violence receive immediate, respectful, and confidential care.

Our discussions also highlighted the importance of collaboration between healthcare providers, local government units, and law enforcement agencies in building a coordinated response to VAWC cases. We reaffirmed our dedication to being more than just a place of treatment—we aim to be a safe space where survivors can find compassion, protection, and empowerment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology from a government-recognized institution
Valid Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) license as a Radiologic Technologist
Good moral character
Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRI
Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
Maintain and operate imaging equipment
Collaborate with medical staff to interpret imaging results

Our Zumbathon and Zumbacon event was a massive success thanks to the passion, movement, and unity of everyone who danced the night away. Huge thanks to the amazing Mendero Group for making this possible, and to the one and only Zumba Instructor Kenneth Sandoval who led the crowd with his unstoppable energy and signature flair! 💪🎶
