𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗶𝗱𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗜𝗗𝗦! ❤️‍🩹

₊✩‧₊˚౨ৎ˚₊✩‧₊

°˖➴ 18𝙩𝙝 𝙤𝙛 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙝 𝙞𝙣 2024, we made the decision to form our alliance with the intention of reducing the number of individuals living with HIV/AIDS by raising awareness of the infection on various social media platforms. We all participated and gave it our all to inform other internet users about the aforementioned virus; we also put in a lot of effort for about a month!

𝙒𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙜𝙡𝙖𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙙𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣– to take part in this transformation where we have been able to ​🇨​​🇷​​🇪​​🇦​​🇹​​🇪​ ​🇱​​🇮​​🇹​​🇹​​🇱​​🇪​ ​🇸​​🇹​​🇪​​🇵​​🇸​ ​🇹​​🇭​​🇦​​🇹​ ​🇱​​🇪​​🇦​​🇩​ ​🇹​​🇴​ ​🇧​​🇮​​🇬​ ​🇹​​🇮​​🇲​​🇪​ ​🇨​​🇭​​🇦​​🇳​​🇬​​🇪​​🇸​ ​🇳​​🇴​​🇹​ ​🇯​​🇺​​🇸​​🇹​ ​🇫​​🇴​​🇷​ ​🇾​​🇴​​🇺​ ​🇦​​🇳​​🇩​ ​🇲​​🇪​, ​🇧​​🇺​​🇹​ ​🇦​​🇱​​🇸​​🇴​ ​🇹​​🇴​ ​🇹​​🇭​​🇪​ ​🇼​​🇴​​🇷​​🇱​​🇩​ ​🇦​​🇳​​🇩​ ​🇹​​🇴​ ​🇹​​🇭​​🇪​ ​🇫​​🇺​​🇹​​🇺​​🇷​​🇪​ ​🇬​​🇪​​🇳​​🇪​​🇷​​🇦​​🇹​​🇮​​🇴​​🇳​​🇸​.

ˋ°•*⁀➷ Ken is a student who excels in his study, but not only he is a student—he is also a teenager who explores different things and tries to find fun within. One day, while having fun with a friend—an unexpected and appalling event happens.

❗ In relevance to our advocacy, we created a film focusing on HIV, how it can be transmitted, its causes and effects, and ways on how we can lessen its damage on an individual. May this film serve as an awareness not just to us teenagers, but also to adults for everyone is prone to being infected with this virus. ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ On this day, we are glad to present our trailer for our upcoming film dedicated to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS transmission. It is a well-known fact that there is no cure for this virus, yet, there are ways on how we can lessen its effect for those who are infected.

Three women who were diagnosed with HIV after getting “vampire facial” procedures at an unlicensed New Mexico medical spa are believed to be the first documented cases of people contracting the virus through a cosmetic procedure using needles, federal health officials said.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said in its Morbidity and Mortality Report last week that an investigation into the clinic from 2018 through 2023 showed it apparently reused disposable equipment intended for one-time use.

Although HIV transmission from contaminated blood through unsterile injection is a well-known risk, the report said this is the first documentation of probable infections involving cosmetic services.

Many popular cosmetic treatments are delivered with needles, such as Botox to iron out wrinkles and fillers to plump lips. A “vampire facial,” or platelet-rich plasma microneedling procedure, involves drawing a client’s own blood, separating its components, then using tiny needles to inject plasma into the face to rejuvenate the skin. Tattoos also require needles.

The New Mexico Department of Health began investigating the spa in the summer of 2018 after it was notified that a woman in her 40s had tested positive for HIV even though she had no known risk factors. The woman reported exposure to needles through the procedure at the clinic that spring. | via Associated Press

A woman in her 40s was exposed to needles from cosmetic platelet-rich plasma (PRP) microneedling facials (also known as vampire facials). Two other patients who were diagnosed also received the treatment in 2018.

Our combined EFFORTS are needed to combat AIDS. We all work together to ADVOCATE , SUPPORT , and EDUCATE people who are impacted. Every effort, no matter how tiny, helps in the fight against the world health emergency. Together, we can combat stigma, stand firm, and advance access to care, treatment, and prevention. En masse, we can eradicate AIDS.

PREVENTION is considered as BETTER than CURE because it saves us from harm of curing through medicines. Prevention is a safe way to remain away from any problem. It is always better to be safe about things than to be sorry later. It is a lot better to avoid something bad in the first place, rather than have to deal with its consequences later.

So always remember PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE!!
