Smoking is like paying someone to kill you. They're rich and you're dead.

Smoking is one of the leading causes of preventable deaths worldwide, and its adverse effects are well-documented.

The chemicals in to***co smoke can harm almost every organ in the body and cause numerous health problems, such as lung cancer, heart disease, stroke, respiratory infections, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

Smoking also damages the immune system, making it harder for the body to fight off infections and diseases.

Quitting smoking can greatly reduce these adverse effects and improve overall health and wellbeing. 💚💪

Youth who use multiple to***co products are at higher risk for developing ni****ne dependence and might be more likely to continue using to***co into adulthood-Centers for disease Control and Prevention

Last February 6, 2024, the Upi Smoke-free task force conducted an orientation on the Anti-smoking ordinance of the Municipality to the minors of Barangay Kinitaan. This activity was initiated by their Baranga Local Government under the leadership of Hon.Chairman Mars Mariano in support to the Municipality's continuous campaign on promoting a smoke-free environment for the community.

The activity's goal is to prevent and control chronic use of to***co by focusing on providing an advocacy among minors.

Ang usok mula sa Heated To***co Products (HTP) o v**e products na naglalaman ng tobako ay kinikilala pa rin bilang ‘to***co smoke’ o usok ng tobako. Ang usok ng tobako ay masama sa kalusugan, nakaka-adik, at nakamamatay.

Ang e-cigarettes ay nagdudulot ng pagkalason, pagkapinsala, pagkasunog, o agarang toxicity sa katawan, kasama na ang pangingisay, matapos itong langhapin
