The opening ceremonies of MedTech Week 2025 were held on September 16, 2025 at the Region 1 Medical Center, organized by the Philippine Association of Medical Technologists, Inc. (PAMET). This yearโ€™s theme, โ€œPagbabago Tungo sa Luntiang Pangangalaga: Mga Filipinong Medical Technologist para sa Matatag na Kinabukasan,โ€ emphasizes the responsibility of Medical Technologists to champion change and lead efforts toward a greener, more resilient healthcare system.

As part of the observance, interns and staff of the USHH Laboratory Department decorated the area, showcasing creativity, teamwork, and appreciation for the vital role of Medical Technologists.

On August 5, 2025, USHH successfully celebrated Nutrition Month with a program held at the Lecture Room and interactive wellness booths set up at the Ground Floor Lobby.

The event also marked the Grand Opening of the Nutrition and Wellness Clinic, offering Nutrition Counseling, Random Blood Sugar Testing, and Strength Testing. The celebration was graced by our Guest of Honor, Dr. Jacqueline Rose T. Burgos, MSCN, PhD, and Guest Speaker, Dr. Ma. Niรฑa Castillo-Reyes, MD, FPCP, MSc.

One of the program highlights was the awarding of the Biggest Loser Contest winners, recognizing the inspiring efforts of participants who committed to healthier lifestyles and weight loss goals.
