UCBF finally received its Mother-Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative (MBFHI) Health Facility accreditation after passing the criteria of assessment and evaluation conducted by DOH - Region I MBFHI monitoring team, this initiative aims to promote exclusive breastfeeding , ensuring mothers and newborns start breastfeeding soon after birth which is crucial for infant health and cognitive development. Our facility is committed to the advocacy and strictly implement the 10 steps to successful breastfeeding , to reduce the chances of infants developing health issues later in life.

The World Day of Remembrance (WDoR) is a global event held every month of November to honor those victims and who have lost their lives, it also leave important message that traffic deaths and serious injuries are preventable and now is the time to demand action, now let’s make it happen!!!

Our facility is awarded as one of the Top Performing Newborn Screening Facilities - "Northern Luzon's Best"👏.
Most babies are healthy when they are born, we screen all newborns 24 hours after birth before discharge from our facility, most of them looks healthy @ birth but carry genetic disorder. If we detect these disorders early, we can prevent serious problems and so the child can grow up healthy and normal.
