OTC po si Mebendazole (Antiox) 500mg

Hwag niyo po ipag kait ang pampurga essential po yan. Recommend nga po biannual yung pag dedeworm. Especially sa mga bata.

As for adults, nauuso ang samgyupsal. All the more na dapat nag pupurga din po tayo.

As Pharmacists wag po natin kalimutan mag counsel before giving the medication.

I think it's best if you update your learninggs yourself. Start with pagbabasa ng mga leaflet sa loob ng boxes, hindi yung tinatapon niyo lang. Iba iba kasi approaches ng pag cocounsel and ibat iba din need icounsel depending on the patient. For quick info, basahin mo patient information leaflet habang di ka pa nag search. Buksan mo nalang yung box ng stock niyo.

I recommend reading MIMS, PIL, Various guidelines, lexicomp etc.

Yes, mebendazole is used as treatment and prophylaxis.

Remember, counselling also encompasses proper intake of the specific dosage form, dose to take, drug interactions to consider besides sa appropriateness of the meds.
