Hello my dear parents! πŸ₯° I would like to share with you the latest 2025 Childhood Immunization Schedule in our country as recommended by the Pediatric Infectious Disease Society of the Philippines or PIDSP❀️

πŸ‘‰πŸ» At the age of 1, your baby should have received the following vaccines which are mostly available at the local heath centers for FREE. These are:

- BCG x 1 dose
- Hep B x 3 - 4 doses
- Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis x 3 - 4 doses
- Inactivated polio (IPV) x 2 - 4 doses
- Oral polio (OPV) x 3 doses
- Hib x 3 - 4 doses
- Pneumonia x 3 - 4 doses
- Measles x 1 dose
- MMR x 1 - 2 doses

‼️ However, other vaccines are not available at the local health centers but are available in private clinics/hospitals which are of EQUAL IMPORTANCE are the following:

- Rotavirus x 2 - 3 doses
- Flu x 2 doses
- Inactivated Hepa A x 1 dose (*2nd dose can be given at a minimum interval of 6 mos from the 1st dose)
- Varicella x 1 dose (*2nd dose is usually given at 4-6 years of age but maybe given at an earlier interval of 4 weeks to 3 mos from the 1st dose and is considered valid)
- Japanese Encephalitis x 1 dose (2nd/booster dose is given 12-24 mos from the 1st dose)
- Meningococcal x 1 - 3 doses

❗️In addition, one of the most LATEST guidelines that can seen in the 2025 vaccination recommendation is that RABIES PRE-EXPOSURE VACCINATION are now MANDTORY rather than recommended.

Should you have any concern or question, feel free to book an appointment with your trusted pediatrician.

Iba pa rin ang protektado para laging handa at sigurado! πŸ’‰
