This announcement is to inform all pregnant minors (aged 19 and below) that parental or guardian consent is required for all prenatal care services. Furthermore, it is crucial that both the minor and her parent/guardian actively listen to and participate in discussions with the healthcare provider. Please bring your parent or guardian to our facility to sign the necessary consent forms and to fully engage in the consultation. Thank you for your cooperation.

𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗧𝗕 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

On March 24, we commemorated World Tuberculosis (TB) Day with activities focused on awareness, prevention, and early detection. Held at our adopted barangay, Brgy. Mabini. The event featured an educational lecture by Dr. Jeli Cielo Taocta, emphasizing the importance of TB prevention and testing. As part of the initiative, 30 recipients received free chest X-ray examinations to support early diagnosis and treatment.

Additionally, a separate lecture was conducted at the VDH OPD by Nursing students from Riverside College, further reinforcing the campaign’s message and educating the community about TB.

Through these efforts, we continue to advocate for proactive health measures, encouraging individuals to get tested and take preventive actions to protect their families and communities.

Valladolid District Hospital proudly joined the nation in celebrating 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 with the theme: “𝘉𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘦 𝘴𝘢 𝘓𝘢𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘯𝘨 𝘚𝘦𝘬𝘵𝘰𝘳, 𝘈𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘉𝘶𝘬𝘢𝘴 𝘴𝘢 𝘉𝘢𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘗𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘴.” This theme aligns with the Magna Carta of Women (RA 9710), reinforcing the commitment to promoting gender equality and empowering women across all sectors of society.

The event featured esteemed speakers Ma’am Bahiyyh Ruth G. Robinson, RSW, Social Welfare Officer II SWAB TEAM LEADER from DSWD, and Ma’am Dionela Madrona, from CSWDO-Talisay City. Their insights and expertise inspired participants to continue advocating for women’s empowerment across all sectors.

Valladolid District Hospital-Animal Bite Treatment Center kicked off Rabies Awareness Month celebration with a motorcade and a lecture on responsible pet ownership in Barangay Mabini, Valladolid and VDH OPD, promoting vaccination and proper pet care to ensure a rabies-free community. 🐈🐶💉

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the residents of Brgy. Mabini for their active participation in our recent lecture on responsible pet ownership.
