To all our dear patients, neighbors, colleagues, and friends— From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for joining us in celebrating the 1st Anniversary of St. Jude Thaddeus Clinic and Pharmacy.

Your presence, prayers, and kind words made the day truly special. Seeing familiar faces and new friends gathered along Aglipay Street reminded us why we opened our doors in the first place: to serve with compassion, integrity, and hope.

We are especially grateful to those who helped organize the event, supported the free medical check-up, and shared in the joy of this milestone. Your trust and encouragement continue to inspire us to grow, improve, and give back.

The measles virus is one of the most contagious and infectious diseases known, and the current outbreak is ongoing. As cases rise, vaccinating your children is the most effective way to keep them safe.

High childhood vaccination rates help to create widespread protection against contagious diseases, like measles, within communities. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends all children receive the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine at age 12-15 months, then again at 4-6 years to protect them from these diseases.

Alerto sa HFMD: Panatilihing malinis ang mga paaralan!

Isang batang may HFMD ay maaaring makahawa ng marami pa.

Hugasan ang mga kamay, iwasan ang paghawak sa mukha, at panatilihing malinis ang paligid.

Mga Sintomas:
- Lagnat
- Singaw sa bibig
- Pantal sa palad, talampakan at puwit.

❕DOH: PANATILIHIN ANG KALINISAN SA MGA PAARALAN PARA MAIWASAN ANG HAWAHAN NG SAKIT, GAYA NG HAND FOOT AND MOUTH DISEASE❕

Sa pagpapatuloy ng klase sa mga paaralan, paalala ng DOH na panatilihin ang kalinisan sa katawan at paligid, lalo na sa mga silid-aralan at lugar kung saan namamalagi ang mga bata.

Kahit pababa ang trend ng bilang ng mga kaso ng Hand Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD) mula Mayo 18-31, 2025 (1,964 cases) papuntang Hunyo 1-14, 2025 (1,363 cases), hindi dapat maging kampante dahil mabilis itong makahawa kung hindi mag-iingat.

Ang isang batang may HFMD ay maaaring makahawa ng higit sa 2 na ibang bata, at maari pa itong dumami kapag nasa closed spaces gaya ng bahay at eskwelahan.

🖐👣 Ang mga kadalasang sintomas ng HFMD ay:
📌 lagnat
📌 singaw sa bibig
📌 sakit sa lalamunan
📌 mga butlig sa palad, talampakan, o puwit

❗️Makaiiwas sa HFMD sa pamamagitan ng:

✅Paghuhugas ng kamay gamit ang sabon at malinis na tubig, o paggamit ng alcohol-based sanitizer
✅Pag-iwas sa paghawak sa mukha, lalo na sa mata, ilong, at bibig
✅Pagpapanatili ng kalinisan at pagdisinfect ng mga kagamitan
