Recognizing the proactive approach of the ABACA Eagles Club in addressing the pressing need for intervention, particularly amidst the increasing incidence of suicidal attempts and psychological disturbances among youths in the province. By coordinating with school authorities and facilitating vital mental health orientations, the club has played a pivotal role in promoting mental well-being and resilience among the youth.

The resolution, sponsored by PBM Joselito T. Alberto, during the 12th Regular Session of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) held on March 25, 2024, highlights the remarkable dedication of the ABACA Eagles Club in advocating mental health awareness among high school students in Catanduanes. Through their diligent efforts, the club has conducted impactful mental health orientations across various high schools, significantly contributing to raising awareness and reducing the stigma surrounding mental health issues.

A heartfelt display of appreciation, the SP extended warm congratulations and commendations to the ABACA Eagles Club of The Fraternal Order of Eagles (TFOE) for their exemplary achievement as recipients of the prestigious Salud Bicolnon (SB) Awards from the Department of Health Bicol Center for Health Development.

"The lone NGO in the Bicol area that is active in advocating mental health among schools and universities, showcasing exemplary performance as mental health advocates," added by PBM Joselito Alberto in an online interview.

Furthermore, the resolution emphasizes the inspirational impact of the ABACA Eagles Club's exemplary performance, serving as a beacon of hope for organizations and individuals striving to make a positive impact on mental health issues within communities. Their proactive efforts in addressing the challenges of mental health have earned them well-deserved recognition and admiration from the Sangguniang Panlalawigan.

The resolution extends sincere congratulations and appreciation to the ABACA Eagles Club of TFOE for their invaluable contributions to the community. It serves as a token of gratitude and admiration for their unwavering commitment to advocating mental health awareness and fostering a supportive environment for the youth in Catanduanes.

Abaca eagles Club Concluded 3 quality Community Activity/ Engagement yesterday!

From Lictin Integrated School in San andress wherein a hundreds of students was mentally briefed during the mental health forum by Abaca Eagles club and DEPED medical unit then travel 100 km to northern part of Catanduanes to Panganiban Municipal Plaza to foresee the Culminating program of one of our activities with the help of our very energetic kuya PBM J.F. Alberto and kuya pres Jopher Marasigan the training of Cabuyoan women’s organization on dressmaking conducted by TESDA for 5 days and full turnover of 13 highspeed sewing machine worth 500k… then drove to Sanvicente National Highschool of Bagamanoc for we are invited to its Coronation of its school King and Queen and a donation of high tech computer units to the school and scheduled for a mental health forum by March…

Truly an Eagle with a Vision to be leader in Community Service and strong Brotherhood to the happy Island!

After we concluded 2 quality community service for the month of January the abaca eagles club invited our Regional BRIII officers to be part of our GMM for the month of February a meet and greet to some of our applicants and to discuss some agendum that both benificial to all clubs of BRIII including the adoption of our mental health advocacy campaign it’s protocol in conducting the said campaign and institutionalizing the said endeavor by MOA between DEPED, DOH and PNP.

Currently Abaca Eagles club is accepting QUALITY applicants who will knock on our door and willing to undergo the true process of becoming an Eagle same with our auxiliary Abaca lady Eagles Club!
