A meaningful day of service, growth, and renewed purpose was held at Wao District Hospital on April 30, 2026
The program served as a powerful reminder that healthcare is more than an institution—it is a lifelong commitment to compassion, dignity, and service to humanity.
The Oath-Taking Ceremony of 11 Newly Appointed and 2 Promoted Personnel marked the beginning of a deeper calling in public service. Each oath reflected courage, responsibility, and a sincere promise to serve with integrity, even in the face of challenges. Beyond the ceremony were individuals choosing a life dedicated to healing, hope, and humanity.
In his heartfelt welcome address, Dr. Asnawi R. Dalidig, Chief of Hospital II, reminded everyone of the essence of true service:
“The oath you take today is not merely a formality—it is a lifelong commitment to uphold integrity, embody compassion, and serve with excellence.”
An inspiring message was also delivered by Dr. Alinader D. Minalang, Provincial Health Officer II, emphasizing that excellence in healthcare is not only defined by skills and knowledge, but by heart, resilience, and unwavering dedication to the people and communities being served.
The solemn administration of the oath was led by Engr. Mona-Ali C. Pandita, Chief Administrative Officer of MOH BARMM, whose presence reinforced the values of accountability, discipline, and responsible public service.
The program was further enriched by the inaugural message of Dr. Arianne Palomar, Medical Specialist III, who highlighted the importance of patient-centered care, continuous professional growth, and service anchored in both competence and compassion—reminding everyone that true excellence in healthcare begins with purpose and heart.
A significant milestone was also marked during the Turnover Ceremony of the Newly Constructed Cadaver Building. The symbolic key was formally handed over by NPD Construction representative, Engr. Raffy Dimacuta, signifying the official completion and turnover of the facility. On behalf of Wao District Hospital, Engr. Amer Hussien Macalaba, Engineer II, delivered the acceptance message, recognizing its vital role in strengthening medical education, training, and the advancement of healthcare services with dignity and high standards.
The program concluded with the closing remarks delivered by Ms. Rhea G. Maghanoy, Administrative Officer V, who expressed sincere gratitude to all participants and emphasized unity, professionalism, and continued commitment in advancing the hospital’s mission of delivering quality and compassionate healthcare.
Every milestone reflects one truth—service is not just a duty, but a calling to serve with heart
