A MOVEMENT FOR ROAD SAFETY ADVOCACY🇵🇭

While the impact of coronavirus is a rising concern across the world, there lies another global crisis that we have been left vulnerable to. Beyond this pandemic, lives are significantly affected by the inevitable increase in the number of vehicles on the road each year which has also consequently led to a parallel rise in road crash incident rates.

While road crash incident is the 8th leading cause of death worldwide, it has also become the leading cause of death among the youth. Drawing from this, a call for intensification of efforts is imperative and a need for a renewed national focus on road safety should come into place.

The Bayaning Tsuper was formed to pave the way in disrupting the rising trend of these road crash incidents. It is anchored on its platform, 4KsaDaan. This platform advocates for the Philippine Government to play a greater role in road safety and outlines key steps the government should take in coordinating a national response to road safety. In the platform, 4KsaDaan advocates for:

🛺Kaligtasan
🚕Kaayusan
🚌Karunungan
🚚Kabutihan

The safety of road users is central to our work. This advocacy is about the people; prioritizing their safety while changing their behavior when they venture onto the roads. Bayaning Tsuper believes that we can collectively all make a difference. Every decision needs to count, but more importantly, it is the spirit of shared responsibility coupled with contributions from our government and road safety experts that will altogether make a difference.

1. Holder of a license for at least 5 years.
2. With Professional Driver's License at the time of application.
3. No traffic violation last preceeding year.
4. College graduate and holder of TESDA NC II.
5. Lamitan Basilan residents or must be willing to relocate.
