We were challenged to continue Performance Excellence at 10 and we are proud that CMZ did garner the Philippine Quality Award in 2013 and is the first hospital to win the award!!! CMZ received the PQA award from Pres. Benigno Aquino III during the PQA Awarding Ceremony at the Rizal Hall of the Malacanan Palace. A lot has transpired since 2003 and we hope to share many of these milestones in this site! We will still follow the same Vision and Mission of striving for Performance Excellence as we serve our patients, care for our workforce and commit to sustainability for our stakeholders! CMZ’s 22 Years of Caring Beyond the Hospital Walls! 💫

For 22 years, Ciudad Medical Zamboanga has stood as a beacon of compassionate healthcare in the region — and as part of our anniversary celebration, we took that same care beyond the hospital walls to the people who need it most.

Together with our valued partners, JCI Isla Rosa de Zamboanga and JCI Estrellas de Zamboanga, CMZ brought a Medical Mission to Sinubong National High School, offering free consultations and wellness services to the residents of Barangay Sinubong.

Muchisimas gracias to Barangay Sinubong officials, community volunteers, and school staff for their warm support and cooperation throughout this outreach.

This initiative is a reflection of what CMZ stands for — healing with heart, serving with purpose, and making healthcare accessible to all.

Strategizing for Excellence: CMZ Medical Services Planning 2025 đź’š

Ciudad Medical Zamboanga successfully held its Medical Services Planning 2025 last October 6–7, 2025 at Sigay Hall, Hacienda de Palmeras, Zamboanga City.

This two-day planning activity brought together CMZ’s leaders, department heads, and medical service teams to align goals, strengthen collaborations, and design innovative strategies that uphold our commitment to quality, efficient, and compassionate patient care.

We were deeply honored to have Ms. Roselle Marie D. Azucena, RN, MAN, MBA, MDM, PHDM, Assistant Vice-President of Mount Grace Hospitals, Inc., as our distinguished speaker and facilitator. Her valuable insights and expertise inspired our teams to continue delivering exceptional healthcare and to strive for continuous improvement in all areas of CMZ service.
