Our Story

Cecile's Pharmacy opened its first drugstore in August 1964. Thelma Saavedra managed the first Cecile's Pharmacy outlet at Alano St., Zamboanga City. Few years after, the company grew into Cecile's Pharmacy and Convenience Store and opened their second outlet located at Veterans Ave., ZC. Thelma then turned over the responsibility of managing the company to Gil Saavedra. Over the years, Cecile’s Pharmacy has been aggressive in opening drugstore branches in different barangays in Zamboanga City and introduced innovations in its store presentations as a pharmacy and convenience store. Each Cecile's Pharmacy branch is composed of a Branch Manager, Pharmacist, Pharmacy Assistant, Store Assistants, Pharmacy Clerks and Cashiers; helping to cater the needs of all customers in a fast and right way. Today, Cecile’s Pharmacy operates 21 stores in Zamboanga City with over 320 employees and soon to expand more drugstore outlets in Zamboanga Peninsula.
