We are honored to welcome Dr. Samuel L. Cristobal, General & Pediatric Surgeon and Senior Associate Dean at the Ateneo de Zamboanga University – School of Medicine. He will be sharing with us under the theme: “Disciplines of a Medical Student.”

Dr. Cristobal is a dedicated physician, educator, and servant of God whose life reflects the integration of medical excellence and spiritual discipline. His journey is a testament to how faith can thrive alongside the rigors of medical training and practice.

Word Overview:
We are Christians who happen to be medical students — not the other way around. Don’t forget to run your race with purpose, not aimlessly. Like Paul, we must discipline our bodies and bring them under control, so that in all we do — studying, serving, healing — we do it not for earthly recognition, but for the imperishable crown. Let our training in medicine never come at the cost of our training in godliness. Let Christ remain the goal, the prize, and the center of all our striving.
