Today, the WMSU College of Medicine proudly opened its doors to a new generation of healers. In our Opening Ceremony and Grand Orientation Day, we celebrated the arrival of Batch Haylan, the class of 2029, our newest sprout in the ever-growing garden of future physicians. 🌱✨

Joined by the blazing passion of Dilaab 2026, the calming resilience of Ayura 2027, and the burning drive of Ferviente 2028, this day marks not just the beginning of the academic year but the blossoming of new dreams, new friendships, and the future of medicine.

Welcome to the journey, Haylan. You are “bagong sibol” a fresh beginning, full of hope, ready to bloom. 🌸
