Through sleepless nights, countless sacrifices, and years of unwavering dedication, you have now earned a title that holds more than prestige—it carries purpose.

You are not just the first, you are the foundation, the Suntuan, Tausug word translated as “role models”. You are the hope of communities long underserved, the voice for the voiceless, the hands that will heal where help is scarce. The WMSU Council of Medicine proudly presents our beloved senior officers who have successfully completed their post-graduate degree under the Doctor of Medicine program for the academic year 2024–2025.

Students from WMSU College of Medicine proudly participated in the Run for Hope in support of International Childhood Cancer Day!

This meaningful fun run, held at Centro Pastoral, Zamboanga City, brought together families, pet owners, and advocates to raise awareness about childhood cancer and show solidarity with young warriors battling the disease.

Our future doctors ran not just for fitness but for a greater cause—to spread hope, awareness, and support for children and families affected by cancer. Every step we take is a step closer to a world where no child fights alone!

We especially thank Zamboanga City Medical Center Department of Pediatrics in extending their warm invitation to our crimson medstudents and clerks! We look forward to more activities with you! ♥️

Love isn’t just about grand gestures—it’s in the little things, the quiet moments, and the simple ways we show up for each other.

Last February 14, the Council of Medicine shared a bit of that love with our fellow med students. We handed out goodie bags to brighten their day and set up a message wall where they could pour out their thoughts to friends, crushes, mentors, or even themselves.

Medicine is tough, but we get through it together. Here’s to love, in all its forms—on Valentine’s Day and every day after. ❤️🫶🏻💓
