Labuan General Hospital reaffirms its full support for the Department of Health in the ongoing Measles–Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA), a crucial initiative safeguarding young children against measles and rubella.
From January 19 to February 13, children aged 6–59 months may receive free and safe measles-rubella vaccination at the hospital’s designated immunization area Mondays to Fridays, 8AM–5PM. The hospital is also conducting health teachings to equip parents and caregivers with knowledge on the importance of immunization and disease prevention.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to bring their children and take part in this collective effort to nurture a healthier, measles-free community.

Ang isang batang may Tigdas ay maaaring makahawa ng 16 na iba pang batang hindi bakunado.
Mapanganib ang Tigdas at Tigdas-Hangin na pwedeng mauwi sa pagkaka-ospital o kamatayan.
Pabakunahan ang mga batang edad 6-59 buwang gulang (wala pang 5 taong gulang) sa mga fixed o temporary vaccination site na itinalaga ng inyong LGU.

With grateful hearts, Labuan General Hospital (LGH) extends our deepest thanks to Zamboanga City Medical Center (ZCMC) for walking with us as our APEX collaborating institution.

Last December 10, 2025, we marked a meaningful milestone through the signing of our Memorandum of Agreement—a partnership anchored on service, solidarity, and a shared commitment to strengthen healthcare in our communities. Through this collaboration, ZCMC is lending LGH ten (10) plantilla Medical Officer positions, boosting our capacity to deliver safer, more timely, and more compassionate care for every patient we serve.

Alamin ang mga bakunang pwedeng kunin nang libre sa mga primary care facilities tulad ng LGU health centers at DOH-BUCAS.

Ang mga bakunang ito ay napatunayang ligtas at epektibo para hindi maospital at maiwasan ang nakamamatay na mga sakit.

Mas malaki ang gastos kung magkasakit na pwede namang maiwasan kung magpapabakuna.

Ang tigdas ay isang lubhang nakakahawang sakit na kumakalat sa pamamagitan ng hangin kapag ang isang taong may tigdas ay humihinga, umuubo, o bumabahing. Madali itong kumalat sa komunidad, lalo na sa mga batang hindi pa bakunado.

📌 𝗠𝗴𝗮 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗻𝗮 𝗱𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘁 𝗯𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻:
• Sipon o coryza
• Pamumula ng mata o conjunctivitis
• Ubo
• Lagnat
• Mapupulang pantal o rashes

⚠️ Maaari itong magdulot ng komplikasyon tulad ng pneumonia, encephalitis, impeksyon sa tainga, malnutrisyon, at maging pagkamatay kung hindi agad maagapan.

💉 Ang bakuna ang pinakamabisang proteksyon laban sa tigdas.
Kumpletuhin ang tamang dose ng bakuna ng inyong anak:
🟡 1st dose: 9 na buwan
🟡 2nd dose: 1 taon

Inaanyayahan ang mga magulang at tagapag-alaga na pabakunahan agad ang kanilang mga anak at magtungo sa pinakamalapit na Health Center upang i-check ang schedule ng pagbabakuna sa inyong lugar.

Sa Bagong Pilipinas, bawat buhay ay mahalaga. Sama-sama nating protektahan ang mga bata laban sa tigdas.
