⚡Ito ay nakukuha kapag nagkaroon ng contact or exposure sa TUBIG, PAGKAIN o LUPA na contaminated ng IHI ng hayop na may LEPTOSPIRA
⚡Nakakapasok ang bacteria sa mga sugat at galos sa balat.

⚡Controversial pa kung nakakapasok ang LEPTOSPIRA sa balat na walang sugat. Pero tumataas ang chance magkasakit kung nababad ng matagal ang balat sa tubig baha (SKIN MACERATION)
⚡Hight na mas mataas ang risk magkasakit kung nakapasok ang tubig sa MATA, TENGA o BUNGANGA

⚡Ang INCUBATION PERIOD ng LEPTOSPIROSIS ay 2-28 DAYS. Ibig sabihin, hindi agad-agad lalabas ang mga sintomas at senyales matapos lumusong sa baha.
