July 26, 2025 | Ciudad Medical Zamboanga, through its BRAngay Project, joined Cared Pharmacy’s 4th Anniversary Celebration to offer free Clinical Breast Examinations and Breast Cancer Orientation to the women of Barangay Patalon. Out of 25 patients screened, 3 were found with breast lumps and will be scheduled for FREE breast ultrasound, courtesy of Ciudad Medical Zamboanga. 💗

Far beyond the city lights and far from any cellphone signal, Barangay Limpapa lies 39.4 kilometers away from Ciudad Medical Zamboanga. Yet the BRAngay team reaches it like a lifeline, bridging urban care to remote communities. Masked and gloved, this dedicated health worker gently performs Clinical Breast Exams, changing gloves for each patient and practicing hand hygiene before and after examination. In their Breast Wellness Kit, a yellow waste bag becomes their portable safe disposal, ensuring infection control even in distant places.
BRAngay Team proves that safe, quality healthcare can reach everyone.

BRAngay Project 137 | Sto Niño Elementary School

June 14,2025 | The Breast Wellness Center, through its BRAngay Project, was honored to be invited by JCI La Bella to conduct a Free Breast Awareness Orientation and Clinical Breast Examination at Sto. Niño Elementary School, Sinunuc, Zamboanga City. The team journeyed across 18 rivers and hiked for 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach the community.

A total of 28 women participated in the orientation, and 10 underwent breast screening. Two women were found to have lumps and will receive free breast ultrasound examinations, graciously provided by Ciudad Medical Zamboanga as part of this project.

Bringing breast health to the farthest corners 💗

The BRAngay Project Team is heading to Sto. Niño Elementary School, Sitio Migasa, Sinunuc, Zamboanga City, to conduct a free Breast Awareness Orientation and Clinical Breast Exam.
The location is 4.3 km off the highway, crossing 18 rivers and reachable only by foot or pahagad .

Because every woman, no matter how remote, deserves access to care.

Wellness Fair at Zamcelco

On May 23, 2025, the CMZ Wellness Team hosted an informative and healthful event at Zamcelco, focusing on important topics to empower our community:

🩺 Breast Cancer Awareness Lecture
🧼 Proper Hand Hygiene
👪 Understanding Family Planning

We also provided free clinical breast exams, blood pressure check-ups, and distributed contraceptive packs and hygiene kits to promote overall wellness and health education.

May 10, 2025 | Ciudad Medical Zamboanga Breast Wellness Center through it’s BRAngay Project, visited Barangay Limpapa to conduct a Free Clinical Breast Exam and deliver a Breast Cancer Awareness Lecture. The event was held in partnership with JCI La Bella and the Limpapa Women’s Association. A total of 40 women attended the lecture, and 9 women received free clinical breast exams. Additionally, one woman was scheduled for a breast ultrasound courtesy of Ciudad Medical Zamboanga.
