With the increase in Covid cases, I would like to share DOH tips on home isolation tips for asymptomatic or mild Covid confirmed cases. According to WHO guidelines patients who do not qualify for home care because of risk factors for severe diseases include: Those above 60 years old, smokers, those who are obese, those with non communicable diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes mellitus, chronic lung disease, chronic kidney disease, immunosuppression and cancer.
