Alhamdulillah, our 3rd Saturday night of the Ramadan Medical and Minor Surgical Mission was successfully carried out. It was a beautiful reminder of how compassion and service can bring a community together during this blessed month.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all the volunteer doctors, nurses, staff, and community volunteers who generously offered their time and expertise to serve others. Your dedication made it possible for many to receive the care and support they needed.

Our heartfelt appreciation also goes to our sponsors and partners whose generosity helped make this mission possible. May every act of support be recorded as sadaqah and a source of ongoing reward.

We would also like to give a special thank you to the Muslim Lawyers of Zambasulta for extending their service through free legal consultations, offering guidance and assistance to members of the community.

On the 3rd Saturday of Ramadan, March 7, 2026, dedicated volunteer doctors will be providing free medical consultations and selected minor surgical services for those in need. This initiative is part of our continuing effort to extend compassionate care and support to the community during this blessed month.

For more than a decade, we gave been doing this Ramadan medical missions.

We always encourage our medical and nursing students to join so that they will feel the blessings in the profession they are hoping to have and so that they will have real life encounter with the doctors they aspire to be: general practitioners, internist, family physicians, pediatricians, OB-Gyn and surgeons.

Medical missions like this not only help our less fortunate brothers and sisters in the chosen communities but also inspire our young minds of the true service that doctors can give the community.

Each question they asked in the triage, each VS measurement they do, each prescription they help to write, each medicine they dispense for free and each lecture they gave in the health teaching areas are all trainings of what they will be doing in the future.

We have seen the progress of this mission. The licensed doctors who now sit in the consultation areas were the very ones who sat in the registration areas 6-10 years ago..

Ma shaa Allah!! Time flies so fast but the memories of these services we gave each and every year always bring good thoughts and experiences to all of us.

We are just gathered now under URMC, but we are still the ones who started it in 2012, from Baraqah Notre Dame '95 and friends to UMMA and now to URMC.

Alhamdulillah for all the tawfiq to everyone.. doctors, nurses, pharmacists and friends 😇😇

Alhamdulillah. All praise and gratitude belong to Allah alone — the One who grants healing, the One who allows service, the One who unites hearts for good.

Our first Saturday night of the Ramadan Medical and Minor Surgical Mission has concluded, and we are humbled by what was witnessed: patients served, minor procedures completed, consultations provided, and a community gathered in compassion.

It was more than a medical outreach.
It was a night of mercy in action.
A night where skill met sincerity.
A night where service became worship.

We make du’a that every patient treated is granted complete shifā’.
We ask that every volunteer’s effort be accepted.
We pray that every contribution becomes a source of multiplied reward.
May this mission weigh heavy on the scale of good deeds and bring benefit far beyond what we can see.
