JIHA CME Program 2026: Strengthening Clinical Excellence:

A meeting was held in the Multipurpose Conference Room to finalise Jinnah International Hospital Abbottabad (JIHA)’s Continuing Medical Education (CME) Program 2026, aimed at strengthening doctors' clinical knowledge and skills to improve patient care.

The meeting was chaired by Hospital Director Dr. Qazi Adnan Bashir and facilitated by Hospital Administrator Dr. Haroon Ur Rasheed and Assistant Director Dr. M. Abdullah Qazi. Senior specialists, including Prof. Dr. Munir Noor (General Medicine), Prof. Dr. Rubina Bashir (Gynaecology), Prof. Dr. Atif Iqbal (General Surgery), and Dr. Saqib Ali (Neurology), participated along with representatives from the Departments of Medical & Dental Education, QEC, HR, and Academic Coordination.

During the session, Dr. M. Abdullah Qazi presented the CME in JIHA 2026 program, and through consultation with departmental experts, the annual CME schedule was finalised.

First Year MBBS & BDS Orientation and White Coat Ceremony Held at WMDC

On Thursday, 19 February 2026, Women Medical & Dental College Abbottabad hosted the Orientation and White Coat Ceremony for new first year MBBS and BDS students. Principal WMC Prof. Dr. Salma Aslam Kundi and Principal WDC Prof. Dr. Shahid Khan welcomed the newcomers with inspiring addresses.

The oath-taking ceremony was led by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Khalid Bin Saleem. Students also enjoyed a campus-wide departmental visit and a memorable group photo session for MBBS and BDS batches separately.

The day was filled with warmth, guidance, and cherished memories as the new cohort embarks on their medical and dental journeys.

Mandatory LMS Training Session Held for Computer Operators

On Wednesday, 18 February 2026, a mandatory training session on the Learning Management System (LMS) was conducted at the WMC Conference Room from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. All Computer Operators from Women Medical College (MBBS) and Women Dental College (BDS) attended the session, which covered LMS navigation, data entry procedures, and operational workflows.

The training aimed to enhance digital efficiency and ensure seamless system management across both institutions.
