Spreading Awareness & Saving Lives!
On Thursday, 16th January 2025, the Dard-e-Insaniyat Welfare Foundation - Team Haripur successfully organized a Blood Grouping and Thalassemia Awareness Seminar at The Government Higher Secondary School Kokal Barsin, Haripur. This impactful initiative aimed to educate students and staff about the importance of thalassemia prevention, blood donation, and health awareness.
Over 200 students enthusiastically participated in the free blood grouping camp, showing immense interest in understanding the critical role of blood donation in saving lives, particularly for patients suffering from thalassemia. The event featured enlightening sessions by experts who highlighted the importance of early screening and the need for regular blood donations to support individuals battling this genetic disorder.
At the conclusion of the seminar, the school’s principal expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Dard-e-Insaniyat team for their dedication and efforts. He also shared his interest in organizing a blood donation camp soon, further strengthening this mission of humanity and care.
