اہم اطلاع: برائے میڈیکل سٹوڈنٹ!
انجیکشن سیفٹریاکسون (Ceftriaxone) کے استعمال کے بارے میں
براہ کرم نوٹ کریں:

انجیکشن سیفٹریاکسون کو کسی بھی کیلشیم والی ڈرپ (جیسے Ringer’s یا Hartmann’s) کے ساتھ استعمال نہ کریں۔ اگر سیفٹریاکسون کیلشیم والے محلول کے ساتھ مل جائے تو خطرناک قسم کی جھاگ یا سفید مادہ (precipitate) بن سکتا ہے، جو مریض کی جان کے لیے خطرناک ثابت ہو سکتا ہے۔

خصوصاً neonates (نوزائیدہ بچوں) میں یہ خطرہ اور بھی زیادہ ہوتا ہے۔

کیا کریں؟
سیفٹریاکسون کو صرف ان محلولوں میں استعمال کریں:

Dextrose 2.5%

Dextrose 5%

Dextrose 10%

Normal Saline (Sodium Chloride 0.9%)

یاد رکھیں:
اگر سیفٹریاکسون اور کیلشیم والی ڈرپ کو الگ الگ استعمال کرنا ضروری ہو، تو دونوں ڈرپ لائنز کو اچھی طرح دھو کر نیا سیٹ اپ لگائیں۔

یہ پیغام تمام نرسنگ اور پیرامیڈکس عملے کے لیے نہایت اہم ہے تاکہ مریضوں کی حفاظت کو یقینی بنایا جا سکے۔
