Mega Medical Camp: Free Health Check-Ups at Your Doorstep!

Join us for a three-day Mega Free Medical Camp on December 30 & 31, 2025, and January 1, 2026, at the Women Health Care Center & Maternity Home (WHCC&MH), IUB / BJC Hospital. Organized by the Directorate of WHCC&MH in collaboration with the IUB Anti-Narcotics & HealthCare Society, this event welcomes all ages and genders.

Registration:
9:00 AM to 1:30 PM daily.

Comprehensive Free Services:
- General OPD, Paediatric OPD, Skin OPD
- Gynaecology, Ultrasound, Breast Screening
- Diabetes Counselling, Surgery OPD, Orthopedic OPD
- Dental Services, Physiotherapy
- Laboratory services (50% discount on tests prescribed by camp consultants; on-spot payment required. IUB employees eligible for reimbursement per policy.)

The Women Health Care Center, in collaboration with the IUB Anti-Narcotics & Health Care Society and Directorate of Students Affairs, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, is organizing a 03 Days Free Medical Camp offering free checkup and consultation in Dermatology, Ultrasound, Gynaecology, Medicine, Surgery, Child Care, Dental Care, Orthopaedics, Physiotherapy, and Laboratory Tests for students and the general public; the camp will be held on 30th & 31st December and 1st January, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at Women Health Care Center, BJC Hospital, IUB - all are encouraged to register in advance and benefit from this healthcare initiative via the registration link:

World Diabetes Day was celebrated today at Khawaja Ghulam Fareed Auditorium, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, under the auspices of the Medical and Health Division, IUB Anti-Narcotics and Health Care Society and with the valued support of Getz Pharma. The seminar was organized to raise awareness about diabetes, its prevention, early diagnosis, and effective management. Professor Dr. Qazi Masroor Ali graced the occasion as the guest speaker and delivered an insightful talk highlighting the growing burden of diabetes, its complications, and the importance of lifestyle modification and early screening. Dr. Usman Cheema, Chief Medical Officer, along with Dr. Maleeha Arif, Principal Medical Officer and Head of the IUB Diabetes Clinic, provided precise and comprehensive information regarding the services and role of the IUB Diabetes Clinic in patient care and community health. The Worthy Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Muhammad Kamran, attended the seminar as Chief Guest and appreciated the efforts of the organizers, the Medical and Health Division, and collaborating partners for arranging such a useful and informative event. Distinguished guests including Madam Sadia Bilal, MPA Punjab Assembly, Tanvir Shah Sahib, Director Health Services Bahawalpur Division, and Madam Fouzia Wahab, Ex-MPA, were also present. Dr. Farhan and Mrs. Ayesha Siddiqa, Co-Advisors of the IUB Anti-Narcotics and Health Care Society, also participated in the seminar, further strengthening the collaborative efforts toward health awareness and community wellbeing.
