🌙 As the blessed month of Ramadan fast approaches, we at KHWT wanted to share some updates and highlights with you! 🌙

🙏 We currently serve 430 Zakat-eligible patients, providing them with free comprehensive medical treatment and Ramadan food parcels. This effort costs approximately RS5 lakh monthly.

📚 Our new middle school is dedicated to 104 students with special educational needs, offering free books, stationary, and uniforms as well as a free pick & drop service.

👁️ Every year, we organise free surgical eye camps, offering cataract surgery and visual aids. These medical camps also allow us to proactively diagnose and treat diabetes and hypertension patients.

🌞 To continue our efforts, we urgently need a solar panel system for the hospital to ensure seamless operation.

Wishing all our supporters, donors and friends a happy new year, we take great pride in the works achieved in 2024 and in this year ahead we will strive to achieve much more than before.
Ofcourse all of this is only possible with the Will of Allah and your support. Please get involved whether it be to give your time, advice, volunteering, fundraising or donating, it all goes a long way.

Words cannot describe the feelings and emotions of those beneficiaries of services delivered by the KHWT team in 2024. We delivered many projects from new school builds to relief aid work to medical camps on and off site. This year 2024 has been phenomenal and we wish to keep this momentum going into 2025 inshaAllah.

Thank you everyone for your help, support and generous donations to keep this vision alive and prosperous with our main goals to benefit the people of Kasghuma and beyond.

Chairman KHWT, Mohammed Mustafa, has graciously provided an electric wheelchair to Fiaz Hussain. Fiaz sahib, a loyal employee of KHWT, sustained life-changing injuries in 2022 and now has tetraplegia. The family is profoundly grateful to our chairman for providing this essential piece of equipment, which significantly enhances Fiaz sahib's quality of life and mobility.

Kasguma Health Welfare Trust Hosts Successful Free Eye Camp with Support from Midland Aid Trust and Al Shifa Eye Trust.
The 14th free eye camp held at Kasguma Hospital on 12th and 13th November. This event continues to provide essential eye care services to the local community, reinforcing the commitment of these organizations to improving health outcomes and accessibility.

We are delighted to announce that KHWT Free School was officially opened on 16th August 2024.
Special thanks to our chairman Mohammed Mustafa who along with our supporter and donor Ian Charles Robertson have fulfilled their vision of providing free education to disabled children in Kasguma and the surrounding areas.
