لیہ میڈیکل کالج کے قیام کے سلسلے میں پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد بلال سعید کا دورہ

لیہ: سپیشلائزڈ ہیلتھ کیئر اینڈ میڈیکل ایجوکیشن ڈیپارٹمنٹ پنجاب کی جانب سے ایک اہم پیش رفت کرتے ہوئے علامہ اقبال ٹیچنگ ہسپتال ڈیرہ غازی خان کے پرنسپل پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد بلال سعید کو لیہ میں نئے میڈیکل کالج کے قیام کے لیے پروجیکٹ ڈائریکٹر مقرر کر دیا گیا ہے۔

اس سلسلے میں پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد بلال سعید نے معروف ماہر صحت ڈاکٹر رضوان کے ہمراہ لیہ کا تفصیلی دورہ کیا۔ اس دورے میں انہوں نے لیہ میں متوقع میڈیکل کالج کی جگہ، دستیاب سہولیات، بلڈنگ انفراسٹرکچر، اور ہیلتھ ڈیپارٹمنٹ کے دیگر منصوبہ جات کا جائزہ لیا۔

دورے کے دوران محکمہ بلڈنگز اور ہیلتھ کے مقامی افسران بھی موجود تھے، جنہوں نے میڈیکل کالج کی عمارت، دستیاب زمین، اور دیگر انتظامی و تکنیکی پہلوؤں پر بریفنگ دی۔ اس موقع پر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد بلال سعید نے کہا کہ میڈیکل کالج لیہ جنوبی پنجاب کے عوام کے لیے ایک انقلابی قدم ہوگا جو صحت اور تعلیم دونوں کے شعبوں میں بہتری کا باعث بنے گا۔

انہوں نے زور دیا کہ منصوبے کو جلد از جلد مکمل کیا جائے گا تاکہ علاقہ کے طلباء کو اپنے ہی ضلع میں میڈیکل تعلیم حاصل کرنے کا موقع مل سکے اور صحت کی سہولیات میں بھی نمایاں بہتری آئے۔

یہ دورہ نہ صرف تعلیمی شعبے کے لیے خوش آئند ہے بلکہ عوام کے لیے صحت کی بہتر سہولیات فراہم کرنے کی جانب ایک مضبوط قدم بھی ثابت ہوگا۔
