میڈیکل کالج میں فرسٹ ایئر ایم بی بی ایس سیشن 2025-26 کے طلباؤ طالبات کو ویلکم کرنے کے لیے پروقار وائٹ کوٹ تقریب منعقد کی گئی۔ تقریب کے مہمانِ خصوصی کمشنر ڈیرہ غازی خان ڈویژن اشفاق احمد چوہدری تھے۔تقریب میں پرنسپل ڈی جی خان میڈیکل کالج پروفیسر ڈاکٹر بلال سعید، سینئر ڈاکٹرز، اساتذہ کرام، انتظامیہ اور طلباؤ طالبات کی بڑی تعداد نے شرکت کی۔ وائٹ کوٹ تقریب میڈیکل پروفیشنل کیریئر کے باقاعدہ آغاز کی علامت ہوتی ہے جسے نہایت وقار اور جوش و خروش کے ساتھ منعقد کیا گیا۔اس موقع پر خطاب کرتے ہوئے کمشنر اشفاق احمد چوہدری نے فرسٹ ایئر ایم بی بی ایس میں داخلہ حاصل کرنے والے تمام طلباؤ طالبات کو مبارکباد دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ میڈیکل فیلڈ ایک مقدس پیشہ ہے جہاں ڈاکٹر کو مسیحا کا درجہ حاصل ہوتا ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ڈاکٹرز نہ صرف مریضوں کا علاج کرتے ہیں بلکہ انسانیت کی خدمت کا فریضہ بھی انجام دیتے ہیں۔کمشنر نے کہا کہ ڈی جی خان میڈیکل کالج کو ایک خاص اہمیت حاصل ہے کیونکہ چاروں صوبوں کے سنگم پر واقع ہونے کی وجہ سے ملک کے مختلف صوبوں سے طلبہ کو تعلیمی مواقع فراہم کر رہا ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ یہاں محنتی، قابل اور میرٹ پر منتخب ہونے والے طلبہ کو داخلہ دیا جاتا ہے جو اس ادارے کے تعلیمی معیار کا منہ بولتا ثبوت ہے۔انہوں نے طلبہ پر زور دیا کہ وہ محنت، لگن اور پیشہ ورانہ اخلاقیات کو اپنا شعار بنائیں تاکہ مستقبل میں بہترین ڈاکٹر بن کر قوم اور ملک کی خدمت کر سکیں۔پرنسپل میڈیکل کالج پروفیسر ڈاکٹر بلال سعید نے بھی تقریب سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے مہمانِ خصوصی اور شرکاء کا شکریہ ادا کیا اور طلبہ کو نصیحت کی کہ وائٹ کوٹ کے وقار اور ذمہ داری کو ہمیشہ پیشِ نظر رکھیں۔تقریب کے اختتام پر طلباؤ طالبات کو وائٹ کوٹ پہنائے گئے اور ان کے روشن مستقبل کے لیے نیک تمناؤں کا اظہار کیا گیا۔

The Principal of D.G. Khan Medical College has formally expressed high praise and appreciation for the Medical Superintendent (MS) Dr Mansoor Afghan and the clinical staff of Allama Iqbal Teaching Hospital.
