Dr. Sajad Ahmad Mehsud, Health Education Officer at the Regional Blood Center D I khan , participated in the Grand CPC on Blood Transfusion titled “A 🩸 Connects Specialties” at Gomel Medical College, D.I. Khan.
During his address, he presented the and of the Regional Blood Center, which is dedicated to ensuring the provision of and blood to the entire southern region of KPK of cost and without , fully aligned with Blood Safety recommendations.
He further highlighted the National commitment to achieving 100% voluntary non-remunerated blood donation, underscoring its role as the most reliable and sustainable source for a safe blood supply.
Dr. Mehsud also emphasized the critical need for stronger collaboration between the Regional Blood Center and its affiliated hospitals to ensure the rational and judicious use of blood and blood components, thereby reducing unnecessary transfusions, safeguarding patient health, and optimizing this precious life-saving resource.
