How People Handle Their Emotions: Three Common Styles

1. Self-Aware: These people understand their feelings well. They recognize when they are in a bad mood but don’t dwell on it. Instead of overthinking, they focus on moving forward. Because they are mindful and emotionally balanced, they usually recover from negative emotions quickly.

2. Engulfed: These individuals feel overwhelmed by their emotions and struggle to control them. Their feelings take over, making them feel lost and powerless. They often experience emotional ups and downs and may not know how to manage their moods effectively.

3. Accepting: These people recognize their emotions but don’t try to change them. Some stay in good moods and see no need to make changes, while others feel bad but accept their distress without doing anything about it. This second group often includes individuals who struggle with long-term sadness or despair.

لوگ اپنے جذبات کو کیسے سنبھالتے ہیں: تین عام طریقے

1. خود آگاہ لوگ: یہ لوگ اپنے جذبات کو اچھی طرح سمجھتے ہیں۔ اگر ان کا موڈ خراب ہو، تو وہ اس پر زیادہ سوچ بچار نہیں کرتے بلکہ آگے بڑھنے کی کوشش کرتے ہیں۔ وہ ذہنی طور پر مضبوط ہوتے ہیں اور جلد ہی اچھا محسوس کرنے لگتے ہیں۔

2. جذبات میں ڈوبے ہوئے لوگ: یہ لوگ اپنے جذبات کے قابو میں ہوتے ہیں اور خود کو بے بس محسوس کرتے ہیں۔ ان کا موڈ بار بار بدلتا رہتا ہے، اور وہ نہیں جانتے کہ اسے کیسے بہتر بنایا جائے۔ وہ اکثر اداس اور پریشان رہتے ہیں۔

3. قبول کرنے والے لوگ: یہ لوگ اپنے جذبات کو پہچانتے ہیں مگر انہیں بدلنے کی کوشش نہیں کرتے۔ کچھ ہمیشہ خوش رہتے ہیں، اس لیے کوئی تبدیلی ضروری نہیں سمجھتے، جبکہ کچھ لوگ اداسی کو قبول کر لیتے ہیں اور بہتر محسوس کرنے کے لیے کچھ نہیں کرتے۔ ایسے لوگ اکثر لمبے عرصے تک پریشان رہتے ہیں۔

اپنے جذبات کو سمجھنا ہمیں خوش رہنے اور بہتر زندگی گزارنے میں مدد دے سکتا ہے۔
