الحمدللہ گوجرانوالہ میڈیکل کالج ٹیچنگ ہسپتال میں ناک، کان، گلے کے شعبے میں کان کے اندر سے نکالی جانے والی سپاری کا ایک بڑا ٹکڑا کیمرے کی مدد سے نکالا گیا ہے۔ ایسا گوجرانوالہ کی تاریخ میں پہلی بار ہوا ہے کہ کان کے اندر پھنسی چیز کو کیمرے کی مدد سے نکالا گیا۔ ♥️

A 4 year male child with an impacted Foreign body (Supaari piece) in left ear 3 weeks back, failure to remove multiple times at private hospitals was presented to the Emergency of ENT dept. at Gujranwala Medical College Teaching Hospital
Alhamdulilah Endoscopic removal of foreign body was done, the first of its kind in Gujranwala city ♥️
ENT dept is working 24/7, providing quality services for residents of Gujranwala and its periphery.

Alhamdulilah sharing the good news again with y'all, ENT dept. has taken a huge leap forward regarding EAR Surgeries.
and of 51yrs old Female with hx of Controlled HTN and CSOM R Ear from last 5-6 yrs which was refractory to Antibiotics was done at ENT Dept GMC/ Dhq Gujranwala. Huge thanks to worthy Prof. Shahid, Prof Absar and hardworking of rest of the ENT team. We will continue to provide excellent services and critical patient care. We are proud of our Department Of ENT Head & Neck Surgery, GMC Teaching Hospital ♥️

Alhamdulillah a fruitful workshop was organised in the ENT Department GMCTH On Topic of Synopsis Writing Under Supervision of Prof.Dr Shahid Hussain (HOD). This Workshop not only helps the PGRs regarding Synopsis writing and its early approval but also provides another platform for the Publications.

Alhamdulilaah first of its kind, ENT Dept Dhq/Gmc has done (lateralization of vocal cord) today under kind supervision of Prof. Shahid Hussain of 38yrs old female with hx of Total Thyroidectomy 15months back. Patient developed severe Strider and SOB after RTI for which Airway was secured via Tracheostomy. Vocal cords were Immobile and in Paramedian position. Today we have achieved another milestone in whole of Gujranwala region ✊✌️ Hats off to the ENT dept for achieving another milestone in Head and Neck surgery 💖 Department Of ENT Head & Neck Surgery, GMC Teaching Hospital
