Across the world, many youth-led and youth-engaged initiatives are already making a real difference. We want to highlight and learn from them.

Mian Afzal Trust Hospital Gujranwala Pakistan and Pakistan Youth Organisation jointly organised a seminar on World HIV/AIDS Day, December 1, 2025, at the Conference Hall of MATH. The event featured prominent speakers, including Mr. Sana Ullah Rathore, Founder of Pakistan Youth Organisation and Chairman of Mian Afzal Trust Hospital, Dr. Sohaib Khokhar, and Ms. Minahal, a psychologist.

Mr. Sana Ullah Rathore highlighted the significance of World AIDS Day, discussing HIV transmission modes and emphasizing safe practices. He stressed the need to eliminate stigma surrounding HIV and AIDS, promoting awareness and understanding ¹ ² ³.

The seminar aimed to educate attendees about HIV prevention, treatment, and management, while also addressing the importance of reducing stigma and promoting inclusivity. By sharing knowledge and experiences, the event sought to contribute to Pakistan's efforts in combating HIV/AIDS and improving public health.

Mian Afzal Trust Hospital (MATH) in Gujranwala, Pakistan, is celebrating a remarkable milestone - 24 years of dedicated service to humanity. With a strong focus on drug prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation, MATH has made a profound impact on the lives of countless individuals. The hospital's efforts have not only been recognized locally but also nationally and internationally, solidifying its position as a leading institution in the field of substance abuse treatment and rehabilitation. MATH has inaugurated on 28th September, 2001 by Brig: Riaz Ullah Chib, Force Commander, Anti Narcotics Force Punjab

- Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Program.
A comprehensive program that includes detoxification, counseling, and vocational training
- Prevention Programs:

Mian Afzal Trust Hospital (MATH), Gujranwala, Pakistan, and The Trauma and SUD Action Force Initiative (TSAFI) co-organized a pilot training session on Trauma and Addiction using the "From Myth To Action Toolkit on 17th July, 2025. Held in the MATH conference hall, the session involved healthcare professionals from both MATH and Freedom Rehab, Gujranwala. Participants explored the toolkit, developed collaboratively by TSAFI, the WFAD and DFAF (with myths compiled from various countries). The session sparked productive discussions and significant enthusiasm among attendees for applying the toolkit's approaches in their clinical work.
