A very compassionate, hard-working and determined lady named Dr. Sajida Khalil Uppal (Who served the people of Gujrat as a gynecologist for many years), laid the foundation of Khalil Hospital in 1992.
After the death of madam Sajida Khalil Uppal, the name of the hospital dedicated to the parents by its owner Dr. Tahir Khalil Uppal (a well-known Radiologist and CEO of Uppal Pharma in Pakistan). Dr. Tahir Khalil Uppal completed his BSc from Punjab University in 1983 and MBBS Degrees from Rawalpindi Medical College in 1986. After a brief stint with government services, he; himself associated with the dream project of his parents (Sajida Khalil Hospital), where he worked as a CEO and General Physician. He then completed his post-graduation in Radiology in 2007 from the University of Health and Sciences Lahore.
Sajida Khalil Hospital is situated on the main Sargodha Road Gujrat. It is a 20-bed hospital having facilities like Gyne Obs, General Surgery, ENT Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Allergy Center and Clinical Psychology Department. With all these, SKH has an attractive and strong building infrastructure as well. The development of the equipment for healthcare and hospitals has evolved understandably with the advancement of the new machinery created which has allowed great breakthroughs in intensive care, surgery, and emergency care services.
