Dr. A. R. Gatrad OBE, CEO of MIAT UK is a visionary leader and tireless humanitarian whose work has transformed the lives of countless children in Pakistan born with cleft lip and palate.

Through his incredible generosity, two entire floors of the cleft hospital in Gujrat, Pakistan, have been donated by MIAT UK under his leadership. These dedicated surgical and recovery units enable free, high-quality cleft surgeries, giving children the chance to smile, speak, and thrive.

Dr. Gatrad works closely with PCLAPA (Pakistan Cleft Lip & Palate Association) to ensure access to world-class cleft treatment for families who could never afford it.
