Tarbela and Mangla at Dead Level

"تربیلا ، منگلا میں پانی ڈیڈ لیول پر پہنچ گیا"۔
اس طرح کی بات کا ہر گز یہ مطلب نھیں ہوتا کہ پانی بالکل خشک ہوگیا۔ اس طرح ڈیم بھر گیا (ڈیم بھر تا نھیں بلکہ ڈیم کا ذخیرہ (reservoir) بھر جاتا ہے) کا ہر گز یہ مطلب نھیں کہ ڈیم کے ٹاپ لیول تک پانی پہنچ گیا۔

جب بھی ڈیم بنایا جاتا ہے تو اس میں ایک ڈیڈ لیول رکھا جاتا ہے ۔ اس لیول کے نیچے حصے کو آئندہ سالوں میں آنے والے مٹی کو ضم کرنے کے لیے استعمال کیا جاتا ہے اور اس میں موجود پانی کو مچھلیوں کے افزائش کے لیے استعمال کیا جاتا ہے۔ ڈیڈ لیول اس لیے کہتے ہے کہ اس لیول کے نیچے پانی کو نکال نھیں سکتے یا نکالا نھیں جاتا۔ اس لیول کو وقت کے ساتھ ساتھ تبدیل یعنی اونچا کیا جاتا ہے کیونکہ ڈیم کے ذخیرے میں مٹی آتی رہتی ہے ۔

تربیلا ڈیم کا ڈیڈ لیول سال 1984 میں 1369 فٹ سطح سمندر سے اونچائی پر تھا جبکہ آج کل یہ لیول 1402 فٹ پر ہے جس کا مطلب 30 سالوں کے بعد سے 34 فٹ ،مٹی کی وجہ سے اونچا کرنا پڑا ہے
اس طرح اگر منگلا کی بات کی جاے تو اس کا ڈیڈ لیول سال 1985 میں 1040 فٹ اونچائی پر تھا ۔ اج کل 1050 فٹ پر ہے جس کا مطلب ہے 10 فٹ ڈیڈ لیول اونچا کرنا پڑا ہے

In this study, we explore a machine-learning-based approach to optimize salt cavern design for energy storage (hydrogen, natural gas, etc.). Traditional physical and numerical methods struggle with complex construction parameters. By training a Gated Recurrent Unit model on 1197 simulations, we achieve accurate geometry predictions and propose a method for optimized construction design. This approach improves cavern design efficiency and capacity, marking a potential shift toward AI-driven engineering solutions.
