In line with sowEH’s commitment to transparency and fairness, we are releasing the pre-selection report for our recent sowEH Scholarship applications 2026 cycle.

Around 73 applications have been received from 12 educational institutions and 33 applications have been shortlisted. Approximately 19 Scholarships will be awarded- yet to finalize.

Eligibilty Criteria

Only for GB Students and fresh graduates.

PLAB & USMLE:
MBBS students from 4th year onwards, including House Officers, are eligible to apply.

Doctors who have completed their MBBS and house job before July 2025 are not eligible.

IELTS, OET & GRE:
Students in their final year of graduation or fresh graduates are eligible to apply.

Following the successful launch of sowEH scholarships across multiple thematic areas, we are pleased to introduce a new flagship initiative — the sowEH Global Gateway Scholarship.

This scholarship is designed to provide full or partial financial support to high-potential professional students who aspire to pursue internationally recognized career pathways and global professional mobility.

The scholarship will support candidates preparing for the following pathways:

1. 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗕: Global pathway for medical practice in the United Kingdom

2. 𝗨𝗦𝗠𝗟𝗘: Global pathway for medical practice in the United States

3. 𝗜𝗟𝗘𝗧𝗦, 𝗚𝗥𝗘, 𝗢𝗘𝗧: Supporting examinations (final scope to be confirmed)
