World Mental Health Day 2024 was observed at Isra University hyderabad , attended by renowned consultants from different specialities, postgraduates , interns as well as nursing staff.
The theme of session was " Mental health at workplace"
The event was organized by:
1. Dr. Manzoor Ali , associate professor of psychiatry, Isra university hyderabad
2. Dr. Sunil Maheshwari, assistant professor of medicine
3. Dr. Saad Baloch, additional director, students activities.
The speakers were:
1. Dr. Naeem Siddiqui, consultant psychiatrist, SIUT karachi
2. Dr. Javed Dars, consultant psychiatrist, NICH karachi
3. Dr. Aziz Memon, consultant psychiatrist, Brampton hospital, Cannada.
The event was highlighted by insightful remarks of panelists including:

2. Dr. Jameel junejo, associate professor of psychiatry, LUMHS, jamshoro

The worthy vice chancellor Prof Ahmed wali ullah Kazi welcomed the audience and share his thoughts in relation to the importance of mental health. Dr. Khalid iqbal talpur, dean, clinical sciences add vote of thanks and concluded the session.

World hypertension day 2024 was observed at Isra University Hospital Hyderabad in collaboration with the Health Zone-Medical Services . An awareness walk was organized by DR. SUNIL MAHESHWARI, assistant professor of medicine and attended by dignitaries including:

Dr. Sunil Maheshwari discussed about the theme of world hypertension day, burden of hypertension and what preventive measures must be taken to reduce its incidence.

Health zone in collaboration with Isra University Hyderabad takes the opportunity of giant celebration of world diabetes day 2023 in Hyderabad with 3rd diabetes symposium. The title of the symposium was "know your risk, know your response". The whole program was organized at hotel Indus on 25th November 2023 by Dr. Sunil Maheshwari, assistant professor of medicine, isra university Hyderabad.
The worthy vice chancellor Dr. Ahmed wali ullah kazi was the guest of honor and he encouraged the efforts of the team for such awareness session.
The session includes the talks of renowned speakers:
1. Case based approach on evidence based management of diabetes by Dr. Nadeem Naeem, endocrinologist from mmi hospital karachi
2. Diabetic kidney disease: risks, prevention and management by Dr. Abdul Rahman Qureshi, nephrologist from mmi hospital karachi

The department of neurology in collaboration with Health zone had organized an EPILEPSY symposia 2023 to celebrate world epilepsy day.
This was first symposium in the history of hyderabad where renowned neurologist from different cities of sindh enlightened public with their talks.
The symposium was organized by Dr. Masood Uz Zaman, Consultant Neurologist and Assistant professor of Neurology and Dr. Sunil Maheshwari consultant internist and Assistant professor of Medicine while worthy vice chancellor Prof. Nazeer Ashraf Laghari was the guest of honor. The guest speakers was:
