Being a non government, non sectarian and non-profit, non political civil society organization, purely devoted to enhance quality of life for citizens of Pakistan by empowering communities which are prone to disasters. Motive of AMRDO is to strengthen and empower communities through knowledge enhancement, skill development and creation of livelihood opportunities, focusing on women youth by adopting pro poor and participatory approach. The diverse and cross cutting sector strategies focus on human rights, youth leadership, child rights and protection, women’s empowerment, education, health, water & sanitation, agriculture, livelihood and food security, environment and climate change, peace, democracy and credit & enterprise development.
