Dear All,

Farmer Organization and the water course associations are the responsible for the batter water management at the distributaries and water course level. The Laar Humanitarian and Development Program (LHDP) have planned to organize the “On Farm Water Management Trainings” for proper water conservation and management at local level. The main objective of organizing the training is to enhance the capacity of the farmers of the concerned water course associations regarding the importance of water, its distribution and conservation for agriculture purposes. The purpose of the training is to enable the growers along with other agri. Practitioners to improve their knowledge on the water conversation and better management of the water resources.

Dear All,

To ensure the continued maintenance of irrigation structures, Farmers Organizations (FOs) and Water course associations (WCAs) (who are responsible for water management at distributary and water course level) should be adequately trained. Therefore LHDP has planned to build their capacity on maintenance and management of infrastructure through series of capacity enhancing training and Specialized Training on Discharge Measurement is a part of those training. The main objective of organizing the training is to enhance the skills, knowledge and capacity of the participants on discharge measurement as they maintain and manage their infrastructure and resources.

Results-focused Project Design and Management System (PPMS) training outline a systematic way of designing and implementing projects.

The design and monitoring framework (DMF), its key element of, is a results-based tool for analysing, conceptualising, designing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating projects. It structures the project planning process and helps communicate essential information about the project to stakeholders in an efficient, easy-to-read format.

The DMF approach distinguishes between the DMF design process and the DMF itself:
The process refers to the steps involved in designing a project—stakeholder analysis, problem and objectives analysis, and analysis of alternatives. The results of the DMF process are then summarised and presented in a matrix format, referred to as the design and monitoring framework or DMF. SSDO is organising a 5 days residential training of trainers on Result Based Project Design and Management Systems on November 01 to 05, 2017 in Murree. The details agenda and concept note is enclosed.

Training Cost

The Training of Trainers on Result Based Project Design and Management systems will be 5 days residential training to be organized by SDO Training & Development Consultants in Murree on November 01 -05, 2017.

The training package will include 5 days accommodation in a hotel, meals for participants and training material/manuals. The full board package for per participant is Rs. 49,900 inclusive of taxes.

Pick and drop will be provided to the group of participants from Islamabad to Murree and Muree to Islamabad.

Registration Deadline:

Last date to register yourself is September 30, 2017. Training fee will be deposited by the participant through bank draft or cross cheque to the account of SSDO after selection of participant in the first week of October 2017.
