Peers' Foundation organization started in the year 2007 when a handful of volunteers from Jamshoro comprising mainly university students started free classes and teaching program for the under-privileged and poor students of Urban Jamshoro. With the increasingly deteriorating state of public sector education in the country and the subsequent failure on part of the government to address the educati
on crises particularly in the poorer sections of the society. Peers’ Foundation was in its early stages singularly devoted to the task of imparting quality and free of cost education to students with poor economic backgrounds and an overall educational uplift in District Jamshoro of Sindh. While our voluntary education campaign continued to operate successfully, with our students performing well in examinations and getting selected in top notch engineering and medical universities, in the year 2009, we decided to expanded include within our purview two more areas of operation; self funded medical facilities and an awareness campaign for global warming and environment protection in Jamshoro. To that end our volunteers started contributing for free medicines for the poor and organized plantation events in various localities in Jamshoro.
