As a dietitian, I get this question every Eid:
“Which goat part is healthiest?”
Spoiler: They’re not all equal — and some come with cholesterol warnings 🚨

Here’s what you need to know about:

Goat Brain (Maghaz):
Tastes heavenly, but… it’s loaded with cholesterol (~2000 mg per 100g).
Super high in fat, less proteinDefinitely not an everyday food — more like a festive treat.

Goat Heart:
Underrated but amazing — leaner than most red meat, rich in CoQ10 (good for YOUR heart).
Great protein, iron, zinc source — without the cholesterol load of brain.

Goat Liver (Kaleji):
Packed with iron, vitamin A, and B12 — excellent for energy and anemia.
But too much = vitamin A overload ⚠️
Best for once-a-week use, especially helpful for women with low iron.
