.pk has recently concluded facilitation on summer course on Non-profit Leadership and Community Engagement as Community partner with Extension School. This partnership allowed graduate students to co-design and lead projects while engaging directly with practitioners in the field.
Four incredible graduate students, including Samantha Armistead, Anup Agarwal, Gabby Rodriguez and Dr. Meghan Dawe participated in a community-action research project with TransHelp under the leadership of Founder and CEO Mohsin Khan. The project focused on examining power dynamics, equity, and inclusion within the health system for transgender communities in Pakistan. The students delivered a data-informed community engagement plan addressing systemic barriers and factors contributing to violence and HIV/AIDS.
