Alhamdulillah we carried out 50 cochlear Implant surgeries at CDA Cochlear Implant Centre in the Holy month of Ramadan as a special task. All of them were free and aim was to give parents a sigh of relief in the Holy month of Ramadan so that they can enjoy happiness at Eid Ul Fitr. All of these cases were supported by Government of Pakistan.
Baby in picture was last case in Ramadan and operated on special instructions of Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan.
CDA Cochlear Implant Centre is first and biggest public sector Cochlear Implant Centre .It provides not only implant services but is known centre for treatment of Ear Disease.
The centre was established in 2016 and is catering patients not only from inside country but has a strong referral from abroad.
Now we have reached the toll of 650. Amongst them 150 were operated in first 4 months of this year.

We have an honour to bring first cochlear program for deaf and mute population of our country and to create awareness among parents of deaf children.

Auditory Implant centre at Capital Hospital is first and biggest public sector implant centre .It provides not only implant services but is known for ear surgeries too.
