The Global Health Security Agenda (GHSA) stands as a collaborative global initiative aimed at fostering robust and resilient public health systems. Its overarching goal is to equip nations to effectively prevent, detect, and respond to infectious disease threats worldwide. Over 70 countries, international organizations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and private sector entities, including Pakistan, have united under the GHSA framework. Together, they are dedicated to realizing a shared vision: a world that is both safe and secure, free from the global health threats posed by infectious diseases.
RBC Islamabad actively engaged in the Global Health Security Summit (GHSS), where fruitful discussions unfolded. The summit provided a platform for RBC Islamabad to explore areas of mutual cooperation with stakeholders from the Ministry of Health and international delegations. This collaboration signifies a commitment to collective efforts, knowledge sharing, and strategic partnerships in the pursuit of global health security. Through such initiatives, the global community strives to build a collective defense against infectious diseases, fostering a safer and more secure world for all.
