Getting the balance right with your diet is as important to ostomates as it is to the rest of the population. Following surgery and if you've been ill then it is even more important you eat well to allow for a full recovery.
We are all different though. So while some ostomates can eat anything others, through their experience, find it best to avoid certain foods. The high fibre content of fruit and vegetables can prove problematic for instance.
