KID'S CAMPING DAY OUT

The School of Survival organized a fun-filled Kids Camping Day Out for students of classes 1 to 5 from Learner's House School, Islamabad at the foothills of Margalla Hills. The event offered an exciting blend of learning, adventure, and environmental awareness.

Students participated in a variety of activities, including camping, hiking, nature exploration, archery, and fun games. They also engaged in team-building and leadership exercises that fostered cooperation and communication among the young boys and girls.

One of the highlights of the day was the educational session on the biodiversity of Margalla Hills National Park, where students learned about the importance of conserving natural habitats and protecting wildlife.

To conclude the event, each participant was gifted a fruit plant sapling by Directorate of Environment- CDA as a reminder of their commitment to nature conservation. The students were encouraged to plant these saplings at home to symbolize their role in protecting the environment.

The event was a resounding success, with enthusiastic participation and valuable life lessons imparted through every activity.

Our hiking activity was a well-rounded and enriching experience for everyone involved.
The combination of recreation, education, and skill-building was great way to engage young participants meaningfully.

Our hike was designed to be more than just a recreational activity; it served as an opportunity to explore nature’s treasures while equipping young participants with essential survival skills. As we navigated challenging mountainous trails, our team of experienced instructors guided participants through dense forests and bush-filled narrow paths.

During the hike, participants learned practical skills like foraging for wild edible fruits and had the unique chance to taste various berries. One of the highlights of the journey was exploring a cave and discovering a freshwater spring, which was particularly thrilling and memorable for the younger adventurers.

This activity not only helped participants connect with nature but also fostered critical life skills such as teamwork and leadership. Through solving minor riddles and completing tasks together, they experienced the importance of collaboration and effective communication firsthand.

Overall, it was an incredibly fun, entertaining, and educational experience that offered invaluable exposure and growth opportunities for the young participants.
