Putting a cap on your toothbrush is actually bad for your health. While many people think that putting a cap on the toothbrush after they brush helps keep it sanitary, it in fact does not. It encourages bacterial growth, which can make you sick the bacteria grow on the moisture inside of the cap. Air drying your toothbrush is still the healthier method.
