❌ Allied Health Professionals — Not Allowed to Practice Independently!

According to PM&DC regulations, only qualified and registered doctors (e.g. dermatologists, plastic surgeons, etc.) can legally perform aesthetic medical procedures in Pakistan.

🔍 Who Are Allied Health Professionals?
These include:

Physiotherapists

Lab Technologists

Operation Theatre Technicians

Pharmacists

Dietitians/Nutritionists

Speech Therapists

Aesthetic Technicians

Dental Hygienists

Medical Assistants

EMTs & Paramedics

🚫 They are NOT allowed to:

Perform Botox, Fillers, Laser, PRP, Threads, or Microneedling independently

Open or run aesthetic clinics

Advertise themselves as “Aesthetic Experts” or “Cosmetologists”

✅ They MAY assist with aesthetic procedures only under the direct supervision of a PM&DC-registered doctor with proper training in Aesthetic Medicine.

🔒 Illegal aesthetic practices are being sealed by authorities. Always verify your provider’s medical credentials before undergoing any aesthetic treatment.
