🏥 Lifesavers Training | 📍 Faisalabad

PIMA Life Savers Day was organized at Mujahid Hospital Faisalabad on Tuesday, 30th September 2025. Dr. Muhammad Saleem Ghauri opened the program with a brief introduction to PIMA, FIMA, and the significance of Life Savers Day. Dr. Muhammad Arsalan, Consultant Infectious Diseases, conducted an interactive session on CPR / BLS, followed by concluding remarks from Prof. Naeem Aslam, Professor of Cardiology.
The program concluded with dua, with 50–60 doctors, paramedics, and students of Allied Health Sciences actively participating.

🏥 Lifesavers Training | 📍 Mansehra

A Community CPR / Life Savers Training session was successfully held at PIMA Hospital Mansehra in collaboration with Rescue 1122.
The workshop was facilitated by Mr. Hammad Malik (Incharge Training Wing, Rescue 1122 Mansehra) and Dr. Khushi Mohammad, with active participation from hospital staff.

A Community CPR / Life Savers Training session was held at Jamia Masjid DHQ Hospital, with around 20 participants in attendance. The session was facilitated by Dr. Uzair Hassan, who provided hands-on training.

A hands-on Community CPR / Life Savers Training session was held at Jamia Al-Muhsinaat, Mansoorah Lahore, with around 200 students and teachers participating. The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Maryam Adnan and Ms. Noor ul Subah.

PIMA Lahore Hosts PIMACON 2025:
Celebrating Excellence in Medical Education

Pakistan Islamic Medical Association (PIMA) Lahore organized PIMACON 2025 on 27th September 2025 at Allama Iqbal Medical College, to recognize and honor outstanding students from medical colleges across Punjab.

More than 800 distinction holders were awarded medals for their dedication, perseverance, and academic excellence.

The event was graced by Prof. Dr. Tayyaba Wasim (Principal AIMC) as Chief Guest and Prof. Dr. Hafeez ur Rehman (President, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan) as Guest of Honor, adding further prestige to the occasion.

Two Community CPR / Life Savers Training sessions were held at Alkhidmat Charity Australia Hospital for hospital staff and students, with 25 and 56 participants in attendance. The sessions were facilitated by Dr. Ahmad Ali.

On World Lifesavers Day, PIMA Sukkur held three Community CPR sessions at Sufaid Mosque, Alkhidmat Diagnostic, and Rohri Jamia Mosque, with around 150 participants. The sessions were led by Dr Ahmed Mujtaba Memon (Cardiologist), Dr Abdul Majeed Memon (Pediatrician), Dr Ghays Shan (Diabetologist) and Prof Nadeem U din Shaikh (President PIMA Sukkur).

A Community CPR / Life Savers Training session was conducted at Masjid Aqsa, Madrassa Dhoke Hassu. Dr. Adil Hameed served as the trainer, equipping over 100 students and teachers with essential life-saving skills through hands-on training.

The Community CPR / Life Savers Training initiative continued on its second day, with sessions conducted across various cities.

In Islamabad, senior PIMA member Dr. Zeeshan Ahmad Chattha led 2 sessions at Jamia Masjid Doctors Town, separately for gents and ladies, where over 50 participants received hands-on training.

Eminent surgeon, medical academician, and co-founder of PIMA Prof. Dr. Muhammad Iqbal has passed away.

Namaz-e-Janaza will be offered on Sunday, September 28, at 2:30 pm, H-11 Graveyard, Islamabad.

May Allah (SWT) forgive him, elevate his ranks in Jannah, and grant patience to the bereaved family. Aameen.
