Terrible Triad Injury of the Elbow

A terrible triad injury happens when three problems occur together in the elbow:
• Elbow dislocation
• Radial head fracture
• Coronoid fracture

Because this injury makes the elbow very unstable, surgery is usually needed.

🦵 MPFL Reconstruction – Stabilizing a Dislocating Kneecap

If your kneecap keeps slipping out of place, it may be due to a torn Medial Patellofemoral Ligament (MPFL). This ligament helps keep the kneecap properly aligned.

🔧 How the surgery works:

• A small tendon graft is taken from your own leg.
• The graft is attached to the inner side of the kneecap.
• The other end is fixed to the thigh bone in the correct position.
• This creates a new ligament that keeps the kneecap stable.

⏱ Recovery:
Most patients walk early after surgery and gradually return to sports with physiotherapy.

✅ Goal: A stable knee, less pain, and confidence in daily activities and sports.

Floating Shoulder – Simple Explanation
